You can also google map from your location if that is better for you.

THANKS AGAIN THOMPSONS!
This is a potluck and will require the participation of everyone.  See below to determine what you need to bring.  We will start on time, so please do not be late.  Last year we had some issues with kids not showing on time.  We are cancelling practice this night so on time arrival won’t be an issue.  Thank you for your cooperation regarding this issue.
                LAST NAMES:                                                                     ITEMS:
                A thru D                                                                               Pasta dish
                E thru H                                                                                Salad
                J thru M                                                                               Bread

***We will have around 60 people so be sure to bring enough***
We are asking that EVERYONE help in the clean up from the evening.  The Thompsons are graciously offering up their home, so we need to be respectful and leave it in the condition we find it in.
CALLING ALL JUNIORS!!!!
If you are a junior and know you will be returning to the Swim & Dive Team next year, you may want to consider placing yourself in the running for CAPTAINS.  Coach Mike is changing the way we have traditionally done this in the past.  He will be reading essays you write with no names on them to determine who will be taking on the roles of Captain next year.  He alone will make the decisions.  If you are interested, please write an essay describing the following:
1.       Why is swim important to you?
2.       How has high school swim impacted you in the last 3 years?
3.       What leadership qualities do you possess?
4.       If you are chosen as a captain, how will you help to make next year a success?
5.       What ideas do you have for next year?
6.       If there is anything else you would like to add to this list of questions, please do so.
DEADLINE:  Please turn in your essays to Wendy Quinonez wendyq@q.com  by the Pasta Party via email.
***VERY IMPORTANT***  Captain is not a title.  Captain is a position of leadership, responsibility and influence.  If you feel you are not up to taking on the responsibility of leadership, carefully consider whether this is right for you or not.  Coach Mike is only considering those of you who are ready to step up to the job.  You will begin your leadership role as soon as the current season ends.  You will be critical in shaping the next season.

BOOTS & HEELS
Hi, everyone, tomorrow will be the last mandatory practice before the donations for the Boots and Heels basket need to be turned in to the committee.  I will plan on being on deck tomorrow before and after practice to accept any donations.  Thank you to all of you who have donated so far.  We have received some great donations.  If you would still like to participate, we would appreciate any contribution.  As little as $5.00 per swimmer adds up when combined.  If you miss this opportunity, contributions can be given to my daughter, Megan, at the meet on Wednesday otherwise, you can contact me to arrange a drop-off.  Have a great day, Amy Janetsky
FUNDRAISING:
CAR WASH
To everyone who participated,  a HUGE THANK YOU!  To those of you who put in the time for the entire day, SUPER HUGE THANK YOU!  Thank you to Debbie Beaman, Stephen Quinonez, Tatum Quinonez and Ken Reinstein for all of your hard work-ing, top of the SUV reach-ing, Beverly Hillbilly Packing the Car-ing, waving the signs and scream-ing and supporting the team like crazy!  We all owe them a HUGE thanks for their efforts!  We had a successful day and so far have made $510.65!!!  If anyone has any presold ticket money outstanding, please bring it to the Mandatory practice on Tuesday.
All of the baked goods were incredible!  There are many creative people out there!
We were surprised to find out many of the kids didn’t know how to wash cars.  Well, parents… now they do!!    They had a ton of fun and it all shows in the pictures Kenzie uploaded to FB yesterday.  Let’s just say there was a lot of soap and water being flung around.   I’m sure some pics will make the cut for the slide show at the end of season banquet.
Items left at the car wash:
Various Towels – they will be washed and ready to be claimed on Tues. at practice.
1 pr. Blue Old Navy flip flops
TASTI D LITE
We made $40.50 which wasn’t bad for a last minute setup.  The folks at TDL were extremely gracious and made this experience very simple and cooperative.  Thank you to TDL and everyone who attended.  We will certainly do this one again in the future.
Thank you!
Wendy Quinonez
